C.S. Lewis 在他的 《The Great Divorce》裡說了這麼一段話：

不用害怕，每個人都可以心想事成。在終了時，只有那麼兩種人：一種人對神說：「願祢的旨意成就。」

另一種人在終了時，神對他說：「願你的旨意成就。」所有在地獄裡的人，這就是他要的。沒有這樣的自我選擇，就沒有地獄。

沒有一個一直存心渴望喜樂的人會得不到喜樂。尋求的必找到，敲門的必得回應。
